Do you believe in empowering youth through education and nutrition? NC State Extension is looking for a dynamic, community-oriented professional to serve as a 4-H EFNEP Program Assistant.


This full-time (40 hrs/week) position focuses entirely on youth (grades K-12), delivering nutrition education through schools, 4-H programs, and partner organizations. No two days are the same!


What You’ll Do:

  • Teach youth about healthy eating, food safety, and smart choices

  • Conduct engaging food demos and interactive lessons

  • Collaborate with schools and community partners

  • Travel within the county to reach youth where they are
