What is 4-H South Central District Activity Day?
For those who may be unfamiliar, 4-H South Central District Activity Day is an exciting event where youth from across the region come together to showcase their skills, talents, and projects. From captivating presentations to hands-on demonstrations, this day celebrates the hard work and dedication of our 4-H members.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering at the 2024 4-H South Central District Activity Day is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people. By lending your time and expertise, you’ll not only support the success of the event but also inspire and empower the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers. This event presents a significant opportunity for Scotland County to showcase our hospitality and capabilities in hosting such gatherings.
How You Can Help:
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with various aspects of the event, including:
- Classroom Monitors
- Hall Monitors
- Outdoor Cookery Monitors
- Host Check-In
- Lost and Found Attendant
- Cafeteria Monitor/Clean-up
- Event Setup
- Event Breakdown
- Welcome Packets (put together)
- Bathroom Monitors
- Serving as Ambassadors for 4-H and the Event
No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to lend a helping hand and a passion for supporting youth development.
