This is a hands-on workshop that will teach you how to cultivate your own delicious Lion’s Mane mushrooms at home! - Introduction to Lion’s Mane Mushrooms: Learn about the culinary uses and fascinating biology of Lion’s Mane, one of nature’s most incredible fungi.
- Log Inoculation: You'll be taught how to inoculate a log with Lion’s Mane mushroom spawn, using simple, effective techniques to ensure a successful harvest.
- Growing & Care Tips: Understand how to properly care for your log, including optimal environmental conditions, watering techniques, and when to expect your first harvest.
- Take Home Your Log: At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your very own inoculated log, ready to fruit in your backyard, garden, or porch.
Whether you’re a seasoned forager, a mushroom enthusiast, or simply curious about growing your own food, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in the fascinating world of fungi.
Dress for the Weather: It will likely be cold and we will be outside for most of the workshop. Wear whatever you will be comforable in outside.
What to Bring: If you have access to a coredless drill please bring it with a 12 mm bit. Drills will be provided if you do not have one. All other marerials will be provided.
Space is limited, so be sure to register early!
