What is it?

South Central 4-H District Activity Day is a one-day event in which youth, ages 8-18 participate through speeches, demonstrations, or entertaining performances. It is a thrilling opportunity for young individuals to present their ideas, talents, and perspectives in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Who can participate?

Open to all youth, ages 5-18. They must be enrolled in North Carolina 4-HOnline (https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-up) . This event encourages youth to join regardless of their background or experience level. From first-time presenters to seasoned performers, everyone is welcome to take part in this enriching experience.

Benefits of 4-H Presentations and Entertains:

  • Confidence Building: Participants develop confidence in public speaking, a crucial skill for personal and professional growth.
  • Creative Expression: Fosters creativity and originality as youth explore different ways to present their ideas and talents.

How many categories can a child compete?

Participants can choose from 35 diverse categories, ensuring there's something for everyone. Youth can select the category that best aligns with their interests and talents. This multi-category approach ensures a well-rounded and inclusive experience for all participants.
