Description: Who says that you have to be at home during Spring Break?
Scotland County 4-H is pleased to partner with Scotland County Parks and Recreation-Laurel Hill to invite youth, ages 12-18 to register for 4-H Crime Scene Investigation: North Carolina and explore the crime scene of a hit-and-run accident. The young detectives will solve the crime by utilizing various cross-curricular techniques including blood typing, forensic anthropology, fingerprint analysis, impression analysis for tires and shoes, hair analysis, blood spatter and DNA evidence.
Youth will learn about careers associated with forensic science, law enforcement, and more. All registrants must be enrolled in 4HOnline. To register for the program, complete the 4-H CSI:NC registration.

WHEN: April 4-5, 2024; 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
WHO: ages 12-18
WHERE: Laurel Hill Community Center, 14940 Church Street, Laurel Hill, NC
COST: $10 includes lunch and t-shirt; Payments can be mailed or delivered to Scotland County Cooperative Extension Center, 231 East Cronly Street, Suite 800, Laurinburg, NC 28352. Cash and check payments are accepted. Checks should be made payable to "Scotland County 4-H."
Registration and payment are due March 28, 2024.
